What? Free? Yep, you read correctly that magical word free.
The first Saturday in May is Free Comic Book Day. Click on the link before to find a store in your area that is participating. As a librarian, a reader of comics, and yes one who is currently working on her own, I think its a great idea to branch out and read something a little different. Ever tried a comic? Think there is nothing for you? Don't be so quick to judge. Not every book out there deals with superheros in tights.
