Help! I need Spanish titles

Recently, I had a girl ask me if we had any Spanish books in the library. We have one. I asked her if she had any suggestions. She couldn't give me any titles.

So I decided to head to the web and do a search. I am finding nothing. I am looking for contemporary teen titles. I know B&N has a few titles such as Harry Potter and Twilight but I need something else.

I feel like I am neglecting my Spanish speaking patrons.

Can anyone help me?

Depends on grade level, but the vast majority of current bestsellers are available in Spanish. Amazon has a Spanish language site that you don't really have to speak Spanish to use if you're looking for bestsellers.

It's a good way to start. If you're looking for younger readers, there's an excellent series of bilingual fairy tales by Chronicle Books.

Or, if you work in a school library, see if your building or district has a Spanish teacher that could help you navigate the Spanish language pages on Amazon.

Just a few ideas. :)

Oops. Forgot my search trick:
I searched for the contemporary titles I wanted on Amazon, but I searched for "_____ in Spanish" and it was usually useful.

What age groups are you focusing on?

I did not know about the Spanish Amazon page. Thank you! I am going to check it out.
